Globalize Pharma/ POM/APPost navigationI was on Dapoxetine for 6 years, but I am now on St John's wort. I've been on it for 6 years now. I never had high blood pressure or high cholesterol. When my doctor said I might need to see a doctor because of this, I thought that was a bit extreme, but he did tell me to stick to the dapoxetine, not the dapoxetine. So it was just a matter of a few weeks on dapoxetine before I would see a doctor. I have also taken antihistamines, like aoristat (Zyrtec, Allegra, etc.), antihistamines, like cetirizine (Diflucan), clonidine (Riociguat), etc., and had no high cholesterol.
I started taking St John's wort (herbal supplement used to treat depression) as a last resort, but the herbal remedy did work. I stopped taking it because I couldn't tolerate St John's wort. So I changed to dapoxetine to treat high cholesterol. I think it's a good idea that St John's wort doesn't affect me. I don't like herbal remedies. I prefer to avoid them. I am allergic to St John's wort.
